Virtus is The Winner of 40-70 Meter Concept

Mengi Yay Yacht has been awarded in Concept Over 40 meters category in The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2019 with the shipyard’s latest project 44 meters Virtus. The award ceremony took place in Venice/Italy on May 24th, 2019 with the participation of the world’s leading yacht shipyards, designers and naval architects.

44 meters motor yacht projects Virtus, which is well is well underway in Istanbul, Turkey at Mengi Yay Shipyard, is attracting a great deal of attention with her dynamic and elegant design, high volume spacious living areas, an extensive beach area with 55 m2 and the comfort by her two sets of stabilizers. The motor yacht is planned to launch in mid-July.

Virtus’ hull is being constructed out of steel and work is at the latest stage on her aluminum superstructure. Virtus features naval architecture by Ginton Naval Architects and the interior and exterior designer, Paolo Dose of VYD Yacht Design.

Virtus, has one master cabin, two VIP cabins, two guest cabins, and four crew cabins. Thank her twin 1450 HP engines for reaching 16 knots maximum speed and 12 knots cruising speed and 10 knots economic speed. Virtus has a range of 3200 nautical miles with commercial rate.”

Virtus features a five-stateroom layout with an on-deck king master suite along with four guest staterooms below, all with en-suite baths. Additional amenities include a leading salon, formal dining salon with Murano crystal fixtures, a commercial, and an oversized aft deck. VYD Studios always look at the project in its complexity, so it is not easy to define and separate some features which are preferred or favorite. Though we can more easily identify the uniqueness of Virtus based on her sleek and elegant lines which retain originality without compromising the interior spaces.
